We keep this simple, because it is: we collect only what we need to plan your travel, we look after it carefully, and we never sell it. Here are the details.

Who we are

Transcend Travel Ltd is an independent travel agency registered in England and Wales, based in Southam, Warwickshire. For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at enquiries@transcendtravel.ltd.

What we collect, and why

• Enquiry details. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you tell us about your trip. We use this to reply to you and plan your holiday. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• Booking details. If you book with us, we need the information required to make your travel arrangements: names as they appear on passports, dates of birth, contact details, and any relevant health or dietary requirements you choose to share. We pass these only to the travel providers delivering your holiday (for example airlines, hotels and tour operators), some of whom may be outside the UK where your destination requires it. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Correspondence. We keep a record of our conversations with you so we can serve you well over time. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running our business properly.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
• We do not send marketing emails without your consent, and you can opt out any time.
• We do not collect data this website does not need (see our cookie policy).

How long we keep your information

Enquiry details that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation where we left it. Booking records are kept for seven years to meet our legal, accounting and ATOL obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Email enquiries@transcendtravel.ltd and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

Your data is stored in reputable, access-controlled systems, and shared only with the travel providers needed to deliver your holiday and with any authority we are legally required to satisfy.
